The 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held from Nov. 4 to 10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). More than 500 Wuhan companies have registered to attend the expo. Wuhan companies including Jointown Pharmaceutical Group, Bestore, and Dongfeng are expected to strike large contracts at the CIIE; Wuhan bio pharmaceutical companies such as Humanwell Heathcare and Ankon will bring in their latest products to the special exhibition area for Hubei at the expo, showcasing Wuhan’s latest achievement in the anti-coronavirus battle.
第三届进博会于11月4日开幕，并将于11月5日至10日间在上海国家会展中心举办。500多家武汉单位也来了！九州通、良品铺子、东风等企业预计将签约大单；人福医药、安翰光电等生物医药企业将亮相进博会湖北综合展，向世界展现抗疫武汉成果。

At the first CIIE, Wushang Supermarket got connected with an agricultural institute from Spain. Through the institute, a Spanish ham product was introduced to Wuhan. Super Life House of Wushang Supermarket, where the ham product sells well, will go through an upgrade very soon.

RMB 300 million deal of pine nuts
去一趟买回3亿元松子

At the second CIIE, Bestore inked a deal of pine nuts worth of RMB 300 million with HALO FOODS, a company from Pakistan. So far, among Bestore’s 1,000 snack products, nearly 30 percent raw materials come from over 10 countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
2019年11月6日，第二届进博会上，良品铺子与巴基斯坦HALO FOODS公司签下一笔价值3亿元的松子原料采购协议。在良品铺子1000多款零食中，有接近30种原料或粗加工产品来自“一带一路”10余个国家和地区。

Zhang Yuan, brand executive of Ankon Technologies (Wuhan) Co., said that at the 3rd CIIE, the company will present their latest product — a novel non-contact magnetically-controlled capsule endoscopy (MCE) system.
安翰科技（武汉）股份有限公司品牌部总监张媛说，今年进博会将重点展示无接触式磁控胶囊胃镜检查安翰解决方案。
“It is the first of its kind in the world and has great potential in application,” Zhang said. Through the CIIE platform, Wuhan will display its “Black Technology” products covering bio medicine, information technology and smart manufacturing.
“这款产品是世界首创，目前具有非常广阔的应用空间。”张媛表示。借助进博会这个平台，武汉将面向全球采购商展示生物医药、新一代信息技术、智能制造等多领域的“黑科技”产品。
