Three cultural landmark buildings will be completed and opened to the public in the near future — the Phase III expansion project of the Hubei Provincial Museum, the Qintai Art Museum, and the new Hubei Science and Technology Museum.
武汉三座文化地标建筑 —— 湖北省三期扩建项目，琴台美术馆，以及湖北省科技馆（新馆）—— 即将陆续完成建设，在不久的将来向市民开放。

Nestling by East Lake, the Phase III expansion project of the Hubei Provincial Museum occupies a total construction area of 64,000 square meters. It features vast surfaces, sloped rooftops and big glass curtain walls. When viewed from above, the expansion resembles the Chinese character "鼎 (dǐng)," which refers to an ancient bronze ware.
湖北省博物馆三期扩建项目位于东湖岸边，该项目总建筑面积6.4万平方米。独具楚风的宽屋面、坡屋顶，与超大跨度玻璃幕墙完美融合，整个文展大楼从高空俯瞰如一个“鼎”字。

Snuggled next to Yuehu Lake, the Qintai Art Museum, with layers of "terraces" paved with silver gravels on the roof, seems like a piece of artwork emerging out of the ground when viewed from above. The main building has been virtually finished, and its decoration is now nearing completion.
琴台美术馆偎依在月湖旁，建筑屋顶建起层层叠叠的“梯田”，上面铺满白色砾石，俯瞰整座建筑物像从地面“长”出来的一件艺术品。主体工程已基本完工，目前处于装饰装修的收尾阶段。

Situated at the intersection of Gaoxin Avenue and Huashan Avenue in the Optics Valley area, the new Hubei Science and Technology Museum features a white cubic building with spiral curvy lines. This eyecatching "Circle and Square" building has a huge silver ball on the left and an arcuate viewing bridge on the right. At present, the main structure of the project has been finished, and related exhibition arrangements as well as the production and installation of exhibits are in progress.
湖北省科技馆（新馆）位于光谷高新大道与花山大道交会处，为一座白色带有螺旋曲线造型的立方体建筑，其左侧有一个巨大的银色圆球，右侧是一条弧形的景观桥，“天圆地方”的造型引人注目。目前，工程主体已完成，布展施工和展品制作安装工作正加速推进。
