The UK-China Hydrogen Energy Cooperation Forum was opened simultaneously in Wuhan, China and Manchester, UK on April 28. A hydrogen energy industrial exchange and cooperation memorandum was signed at the conference.

The memo proposes that both sides should encourage and develop hydrogen energy-related academic and commercial cooperation and provide convenience for both parties' participants in hydrogen energy industrial cooperation. This will be accomplished by exchanging information, making regular visits or "cloud exchange," participating in each other's key projects, dispatching people to attend the other side's activities, jointly conducting hydrogen energy projects, jointly implementing project assessments, and sharing experiences.
备忘录提出，双方将鼓励和发展在氢能相关学术和商业领域的合作，为双方氢能产业合作相关各方相互提供便利。双方将通过交换信息、定期互访或“云交流”、参与对方重点项目、派遣人员参加对方活动、共同开展氢能项目、共同实施项目评估和经验分享等方式实现合作。
