Improvements are quietly taking place on the streets of Wuhan as more and more public seats, built around retaining walls, square lights and revetment stones, pop up for citizens to rest on.
武汉街头,公共座椅悄然有了新变化。市内大街小巷可供市民休憩的公共座椅越来越多。不少挡土墙、广场灯、护岸石都依势建成了公共座椅。

In Qiaokou Riverside Park in particular, a stone bench with the number "5201314" has enjoyed huge popularity among visitors. "People are curious about the meaning," said Zhou Yixiong, a security guard at the park, adding that the number, which shares a similar pronunciation with the Chinese vow meaning "I'll love you all my life," has made the bench into an internet-famous spot.
