"Time, like the wind on the prairie, fades away into the distance..." With a poetic narrative language, the story of "A Mongolian Tale," a film that features gorgeous photography, is unfolded in front of viewers in the feature column "Huang Xianwen-Asian film."
“时光像草原上的风，消逝在大地的尽头……”诗一般的语言，唯美的画面，电影《黑骏马》的故事在B站专题“东方电影”课上被娓娓道来。

The column, released recently on Bilibili, is hosted by Huang Xianwen, a professor at Wuhan University. Having received positive feedback from netizens, the column will introduce a total of 50 outstanding films from Asian countries.
B站近日开设的这一专栏主讲人是武汉大学教授黄献文，在收到网友热情反响后，他将向网友介绍50部东方电影。
Huang said that it took
him one and a half years to
get all the preparation work
done. All the videos, including
those yet to be released, were
edited by his students, while
commentary and voice-over
recording were done by
Huang.

"It was actually my students who suggested I open a column on Bilibili," said Huang, who initiated a series of lectures entitled "Asian Film" on the Chinese University MOOC in 2018. Huang said that students' feedback was very enthusiastic and some of them suggested he introduce the lecture through social platforms to reach out to more people, hence the opening of the column.
“其实上B站讲电影是我的学生们的建议。”黄献文介绍，2018年他在中国大学慕课上开设的《东方电影》系列专题讲座，反响也很热烈。学生建议，能不能通过网络平台让更多网友了解东方电影史上的优秀影片，就这样，B站这个东方电影名片专题应运而生。
Huang said that there are many great film directors from Asia and a lot of high-quality Asian film masterpieces. "It is my hope that through the column, more netizens, especially the youth, will gain a better understanding of Asian films."
黄献文认为，东方电影史上曾出现一批伟大导演，诞生了众多杰作。“希望网友们尤其是年轻人，对东方电影有更多了解”。
