On Feb. 15, a photography
exhibition with the theme of
"tiger" was open to the public.
The photographer was Li Li,
who has been following tigers for
more than 20 years. "I started
shooting tigers in 2000, and it
has since become a part of my
life."
2月15日，一场以“老虎”为主题的摄影艺术展举行，40幅作品中的每只老虎都活灵活现。拍下它们的摄影师，便是追着老虎拍了20多年的李理。“我从2000年开始拍老虎，这已成为一种生活方式。”

Li, 69 years old, used to be an editor before retiring. At the end of the 20th century, wild tigers in China were on the verge of extinction, which inspired Li's enthusiasm to focus his lens on tigers. At first, he took food and water to Wuhan Zoo almost every weekend and stayed there for a whole day. "At that time, I was very familiar with the names and habits of more than a dozen tigers there. They each had their own characteristics just like people." In order to shoot the tiger's majestic posture in the snow, Li also went to the Siberian Tiger Park in Heilongjiang province many times in the winter and waited all day in wind and snow.
今年69岁的李理退休前是一名编辑。20世纪末，中国境内的野生老虎濒临灭绝，这激发了李理拍老虎的热情。起初，他几乎每个周末都带着干粮和水去武汉动物园，一待就是一天，“当时那里十几只老虎的名字、习性，我都很熟悉，它们跟人一样有自己的个性”。为拍摄老虎的雪中雄姿，李理还多次在冬天去东北虎林园，顶着风雪和-30℃的低温全天守候。

After 20 years of photographing tigers, Li has become very concerned about their living conditions. "In recent years, there has been more and more news about Siberian tigers, which reflects our country's better ecological and environmental protection of them. I would continue this hobby to help protect tigers," he said.
痴迷拍虎20多年，李理十分关注老虎的生存状态。他说：“近年来，东北虎出没的新闻越来越多，说明我们国家的生态环境保护工作做得越来越好了，我要把这项爱好继续坚持下去。”
The exhibition will continue until March 15.
该展览持续到3月15日。
