Dozens of local universities ushered in their back-to-school period on Feb. 19 and 20, during which the number of students traveling to and from Hankou Railway Station reached a peak.
数十所在汉高校在2月19日至20日迎来返校季。汉口火车站也随之迎来出发、到达返校学生高峰。
To manage the peak period, the number of trains operating along Wuhan Metro Line 2 was increased from 56 to 60, and the operational interval adjusted from 3.4 to 2.9 minutes.
同时，为迎接开学季，地铁2号线上线列车数由56车增加至60车，列车运行间隔分别由原来的3.4分钟调整到2.9分钟。

Though passenger flow
increased, fewer long queues

Railway Station stop of line 2.
According to the staff there,
passengers from other cities used
to queue up to buy one-way
tickets during the peak period,
but the number was largely
reduced this term because of the
QR code payment system that
was introduced on several apps
last year.
客流量增加，但武汉地铁汉口火车站排队现象却减少了。2号线汉口火车站工作人员表示，以前每逢大客流，许多外地乘客要排队购买单程票，自从去年可以使用第三方刷码乘车后，排队买票的现象就没有了。
This year, some colleges and universities adopted a staggered schedule to avoid large gatherings. For example, the return date of undergraduates in Central China Normal University was Feb. 20, while that of postgraduates was Feb. 21.
部分高校今年采取错峰返校。例如华中师范大学本科生返校时间为2月20日，研究生返校时间为2月21日。
