Sharing-VAN "Chunsun" of Dongfeng Yuexiang became the first self-driving bus model featuring the vehicle-infrastructure cooperative system to provide 24-hour service in China. It has been in trial operation since Jan. 19 and will serve about 50,000 residents living along the bus routes when put into normal operation.
There are now four routes totaling some 15 kilometers. People can go to the designated stops to try the free shuttle service.
Line 1: Zhihui Qingnian City, Chunsun Damen
Line 2: Chunsun, Chizhongjian
Line 8: Zhihui Qingnian City, Chuanjiangchi Second Road, Chuanjiangchi First Road, Shaojiawan, Xiaojunshan Metro Station Entrance D
Line 9: Xiaojunshan Metro Station Entrance C, Shaojiawan North Station, Chuanjiangchi First Road North Station, Chunsun
国内首个24小时服务的车路协同无人驾驶接驳巴士——东风悦享Sharing-VAN“春笋号”，已于1月19日正式开启试运营。正式投入运营后，将为沿线15个小区约5万居民提供服务。
目前，共有4条线路，共计约15公里，市民可到固定的站点上车免费体验。
1号线：智慧青年城、春笋大门；
2号线：春笋、池中间；
8号线：青年智慧城、川江池二路、川江池一路、邵家湾、小军山地铁站D口；
9号线：小军山地铁线C口、邵家湾北站、川江池一路北站、春笋。

Ice and snow carnival kicks off
冰雪嘉年华开幕

An ice and snow carnival that is part of the 8th National Public Ice and Snow Season began at the Wuhan Fitness Center on Jan. 17, outside which a 600-square-meter ice rink has been built. The carnival will continue until Feb. 28.
Free coupons are being distributed to Wuhan primary school students, allowing them to try inline hockey, roller skating, or curling. The carnival will also be open to the public between Feb. 16 and 18, Feb. 21 and 25, and on Feb. 28. People can purchase tickets on the applet "我要上冰雪."
1月17日，第八届全国大众冰雪季武汉会场冰雪嘉年华在武汉全民健身中心开幕，武汉全民健身中心的室外搭建了一座600平方米的真冰场。嘉年华将持续到2月28日。
本届冰雪嘉年华体验券向武汉市各小学学生免费发放，孩子们可以体验陆地冰球、旱地滑雪、冰壶等。此外，本届冰雪嘉年华计划2月16日至18日、2月21日至25日、2月28日设置公众专场。市民朋友可登录“我要上冰雪”官方小程序购买游园券。

Three more national wetland parks in Wuhan City Circle
武汉城市圈再添3座国家湿地公园

On Jan. 17, the Zhangjiazui National Wetland Park in Yingshan, Yunshui National Wetland Park in Yunmeng, and Zhangjiahu National Wetland Park in Tianmen were announced at Hubei/Wuhan 2022 World Wetlands Day event. So far, the number of national-level wetland parks totals 30 in the 1+8 Wuhan City Circle and 66 in Hubei Province which ranks the province 3rd nationwide.
1月17日，“湖北省暨武汉市2022年世界湿地日”活动现场，英山张家咀国家湿地公园、云梦涢水国家湿地公园、天门张家湖国家湿地公园等三家通过国家湿地公园验收的单位被正式授牌。至此，武汉1+8城市圈内的国家级湿地公园增加到30家，湖北省国家级湿地公园总数达到66个，位列全国第三。

Heavy snow is forecast to fall in most parts of Hubei Province from Jan. 20 to 24, after which a round of rain and further snow is expected to follow between Jan. 25 and 27.

199 major projects launched in Q1
一季度199个重大项目集中开工
A launch ceremony of major projects in the first quarter of 2022 was held on Jan. 18, marking the commencement of 199 major projects with a total investment of RMB 327.73 billion, among which, seven have investments of at least RMB 10 billion each, and nine between RMB 5 and 10 billion each. The projects cover areas such as technological innovation, biomedicine, and intelligent manufacturing.
1月18日，武汉市举行2022年一季度重大项目集中开工活动。此次全市集中开工的重大项目共199个，总投资3277.3亿元，投资100亿元以上项目7个、50亿~100亿元项目9个，涵盖科技创新、生物医药、智能制造等多个领域。
